after a while parts start to break just like any other car.
- the great Mr Regular on the 1999 Toyota Corolla.
So take that
on a side note, I just found out my car has a chime for when I leave the lights on. No its not the first time I tried to get out and forgot to turn my lights off, its just the first time the car decided to remind me. I dont know what that has to do with fixing my door, but it did the trick

True, but I rather be shelling out $150 vs $2000 because I’m super frugal in my old age.

You know you’re a VAG car owner when fixing one thing fixes some other completely different problem.

Yes but see on a normal car, you fix the broken part and that’s the end of it. On an allroad......well that’s just the beginning of a long and strange journey to discover “what the hell actually happened here” with a detour to “Where did all the money in my bank account go?”

This ^ I justify the repairs on the S600 by saying the only reason (insert system here) hasn’t broken on my Honda yet is because it doesn’t have (insert system here). As a side note, taking the trunk lining out of a W220 S class isn’t a fun time. I’ve got the left half out, the center is unscrewed but being held in by the right panel which just won’t come out.
